Fingerprints are printing:)

Last Wednesday was our fingerprinting appointment in St. Louis. The appointment was only for my husband and mine was scheduled for today. They tell you to be there at 8 a.m. We waited in line with many different people. We brought our boys and they were so cute about it. They looked at the people and tried to figure out who was from what country. Not really racial profiling just guessing. Most people were there to take their test to become citizens of the U.S.A. Our fingerprinting was so simple and would you believe they went ahead and did mine too!! Thank you God!!
So that is done.
Christy is coming home next week from Africa and I hope that she has some tidbits to tell us about our girls. Maybe our paperwork has even made it to Ethiopia already?! It would be great to see some kind of furthering the process.
People are asking us if we know anything else and it's so boring to keep saying, "It's a process, just waiting, the paperwork is in D.C.(still)...

Hi Amber - The special mothers at HH are so loving. They've given our kiddos prayer books and other religious reading/coloring books. I can't read it though it's in Amharic. I pray that if it's good, Bless it and keep it coming and if it isn't good to redirect it. One of the books has the Exodus in it. We have several English speaking 'Jesus' movies in the house, cartoon, claymation, Book of Acts etc. and Mulugeta can watch them over and over. His mom gave him a religious DVD (this is when I started praying for goodness from this DVD and his religious readings - I couldn't understand what he was watching and hoped it was all GOOD!) He was taking notes on it. We have some English communication and he did tell me some of the story was Moses.

His sister is 15 years old - too old for adoption. This makes him very sad. I believe she is now in the sponsorship program with HH and AGCI!

Pray for peace in his heart. We wrote letters to his family today. I have no idea what he wrote - it's in Amharic!
Peace and Joy to you and yours!
Maria (sorry so long)
