A new big step today!

WOOhoo! Another milestone was accomplished today. I had an appointment to get another physical because my one I turned in was out dated. While at my physical, my doctor talks to me again about adopting. He is 46 and really feels a tug about starting this. Him and his wife have no children, but I'm not quite sure what is holding him back. I don't know if he is afraid of his age and the process will just simply take too long. Or is he waiting for the perfect time, which we all know never comes. Whatever the case I pray that he watches our process and decides that he is able to accomplish this. It can be done.
So, the physical was completed again and I faxed this to our homestudy lady. She sent it off to AGCI and then we wait for the state to approve of it. This usually takes 3 weeks and then we file for our 600a.
All in all, a good day, except I forgot about these steps of the 600a ect. I was hoping we could send in our Dossier packet soon.

Just found your blog through another ethio adopt blog. I've had the same conversations with my kids dr when we went for physicals...he really wants to adopt, but his wife is unsure...I every time we've been there since, he's asked about our journey, I'm praying that in some way, it encourages him to pursue it...You never know how God uses you!

Congrats on the next little step, they all count! Eryn
