Flight is set!

We bought our plane tickets yesterday! That's is very exciting and almost doesn't feel real. I don't think it has hit me yet even though I have religiously been buying food, clothes, toys and medicine for this trip. We are leaving in one week!
Woah! One week.

To be honest, I'm sad. Our boys are sad too. This is the longest that we have ever left them...that they remember anyway. We went to Puerto Rico as a second honeymoon but they were too little to notice.

Our oldest really wants to go!! Really bad! We just don't feel like it is safe for him and I wouldn't want to risk anything health wise or other happening.

We had our travel call with Emily House yesterday. It was a nice review over what we were expecting. She did say our girls may have night terrors starting in the hotel. Also, we will want to watch the oldest not being a parent to the youngest. She couldn't over emphasize the tired feeling we will have. And once we arrive we will want to kiss our family and then come home!!

I feel happy(to meet the girls), excited (to see their land, sad(to leave our wonderful boys), anxious(about the safety of our travels, tired(already!) And blessed from God above!

How exciting!

About not letting your son travel with you: it might make you feel a little better to know AGCI told us only two people were PERMITTED to travel. It's a good excuse to give him, anyway :)

That was the hardest for us tooo!!! We homeschool, work from home, we rarely go anywhere more than a couple of hours. I dreaded leaving...knew they would be ok, but I missed them as soon as we had to walk through the gate!!! It is sooo exciting though at the same time. You realize you get to see your new child (ren) and you get to see their country....and it flies by too quickly as well. How is that possible???

Hi Amber! I can't believe it is time for you to travel. I can't wait to hear about it. I didn't get too tired till we came home. Yesterday I was asleep at 2 pm, the problem with that is now it's 3 am and I'm wide awake. I'm sure you will love the trip and everything will be fine!
