Crafting It Forward-------->

Here is what happens when you give your child the camera for a second! close-up of himself.
crazy face for daddy.

his brother becoming a wind-up toy! haha

and blurry mommy. (I like it this way!)

On Friday we got our 171 approval from the USCIS stating we are capable of adopting! Well thank the Lord for that. It is a big relief to know.

Tomorrow night we are meeting with Richard Ndbembe(sp). He is the guy we met at Agapefest who is from Ethiopia. His parents are pastors of a church there and we would love to attend it and meet them too. Richard is going to work with us on our Ahmaharic speaking and talk with us over dinner about the lifestyle there. He leaves next week to go back home and he's very excited to go back.

Now, on to the title of this post...

Here's the deal:

I am joining the fabulous Rachel in the "Crafting it Forward" experiment!
The first three people to comment on this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you! The catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and give the same offer to the first three commenters who will also craft it forward. This offer has some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be.
5. I reserve the right to make something extremely strange.
6. You must post a picture of what you win when you get it. (if you so desire).

I let my little Emily use the camera function on my phone all the time and I just love going through and looking at all the pictures she took! One time, she climbed up on the boys' bunkbeds (standing on the edge of the bottom bunk, holding onto the railing at the top) and turned around behind her with one hand to take a picture of their clothes baskets from way up high!! LOL I thought that was pretty creative for an almost-5 year old...but I had no idea she was doing that until I heard her screaming for help b/c she couldn't get down. LOL

I also have a few pictures of cartoons, when she took pictures of various things on the tv...LOL

Great pic's! Lol. I like your craft idea, it sounds like fun. Can you believe how close to court you are! Can't wait.. I just told Brandon only one more weekend here at home, then we'll be on our way!

dang, missed it by one!
That's ok - oh wait, you were the second post!

I don't know which book/reading material I liked the best. I got a lot out of the 10 hour on line adoption course we had to take. I am a teacher and know a lot about Pavlov's theory - you know the on - the dog drools when he hears the bell ring b/c he's fed after the bell rings so it initiates his drooling... I'm all about proper "training" and know that parents can be trained as well as children!
